Monkey See, Monkey Do: Student Research Looks at Animal Behavior at Salisbury Zoo
Salisbury University biology major Lydia Bradshaw has a passion for working with animals — and now, she is bringing that passion into the field. As part of her sponsored summer research, she and her faculty mentor Mary Gunther are studying the interactions between humans and animals in zoos, after a long absence of activity during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to a longstanding partnership with the local Salisbury Zoo, SU students like Lydia can find out how to use their skills and education for causes they care about, such as wildlife conservation.
